You will join us as a Privacy and Data Protection Counsel, and your main mission will be to support strategy and daily operations in an international environment.
What You Will Do:
- Implementation of processes and controls.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to navigate complex legal and regulatory landscapes.
- Review and help the team with PIAs, PEIAs, LIAs and TIAs.
- Advise on international privacy, data protection and AI laws.
- Prepare reporting.
- Support with incident handling and data subject requests.
- Promote a culture of privacy awareness through engaging training sessions.
What You Bring:
- Degree in Law.
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in privacy, data protection, and digital compliance.
- Strong knowledge in digital laws and standards such as AI.
- Experience in data protection regulations in any of the following jurisdictions: Portugal, Argentina, Brasil, México, Colombia or Chile.
- Good verbal and written English and Spanish.
- Knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage.
